Elizabeth Birungi, Heidelberg Germany
I am a student in Germany who benefited from Germany Academic Institute (GAI). GAI worked hard to secure a scholarship for me at F+U Academy not only that it worked hard to process my paperwork in order for me to get a Visa to Germany which was not easy but GAI worked together with the Germany Embassy in Uganda and helped me to provide all the requirements needed at the Embassy until my Visa was granted.
GAI also helps to extend my Visa when it’s time for its extension whereby it works with the immigration office for the extension of the Visas.
I also thank Mr. Sauer the director of F+U academies and Mr. Rippel the head of F+U language academy Heidelberg branch for working with Mr. Jimmy Godfrey Mpungu Godfrey to offer me a scholarship for the language school and all the great discounts onboarding. I sincerely appreciate it all.

I took Language classes of French and German where I met my teacher Madam Joweria Kasozi who told me about the German Academic Institute where I got to know Mr. Jimmy Godfrey Mpungu an intelligent man who guided me, gave me career advice about my course and with his conduct and persistent help he helped me secure admission to the university in the United Kingdom with my desired course, LAW. Even after admission I still have Mr. Jimmy Godfrey Mpungu helping me further with my inquiries which am very grateful for because he has made the process very easy for me. Am grateful that the German Academic Institute has made it possible for me to pursue my career with their assistance.

I got to know about the German Academic Institute from a friend who was already applying to study in Germany with the help of Mr. Godfrey Jimmy Mpungu and knowing my interest to study abroad for a second master’s to enable me to compete internationally recommended me to Mr. Mpungu.
I was amused at how fast Mr.Mbungu got back to me after I sent him an email detailing my interests, he gave me a call a few minutes after I had sent the message and explained to me the whole process, requirements, and the benefits of studying in Germany that I didn’t even know about
He immediately connected me to someone on the ground who was to help me with the application process from selection of courses to universities, writing a selling motivational letter among other things
I completed my application process and now await a response from the universities
I am really grateful to the German Academic Institute for the support and guidance they have given me throughout the application process to date and special thanks go to Mr. Godfrey Jimmy Mpungu for being there at all times to answer any questions and ensure that I did not miss any deadlines

I traveled from Uganda to Germany and currently am enrolled at the Academy of Languages in Heidelberg, where I am working hard to make sure that I pass my TestDaf or DSH (German as a foreign language) as I wait for admission to the University.
I am thankful for the opportunity offered to me by GAI (Germany Academic Institute) in that they approached F+U to secure funding for my academics. As I processed my Visa, they worked for hand in hand with the Germany Embassy Ugandan branch to make sure that everything worked out as planned. For this am grateful to Jimmy Mpungu Godfrey International Director for ACP – EU States Affairs EA3CLAT – Project Management, who worked tirelessly and spent sleepless nights to advised and possessed all papers which I needed for admission.I would like to thank Mr. Hans-Dieter Sauer (F+U CEO) for accepting the request from Mr. Jim Mpungu Godfrey to offer me a scholarship to attend the F&U Academy of languages for one year. My appreciation goes to Mr. Heinz Rippel, Director of Academy of languages Heidelberg who during internal meetings with Mr. Jim M. Godfrey, concluded a waiver of full tuition and boarding fees.

I’ve always wanted to study abroad but never really thought I would have the chance too until I got a call one Afternoon telling me I had got a scholarship at a certain German University. Like any other human, I had mixed emotions on how to feel about the call. I didn’t know if it was real or a fraud case. I immediately reached out to a friend of mine who recommended I talk to Mr. Godfrey Jimmy Mpungu of the German Academic Institute.
I was hesitant but once I reached out to Jimmy, I knew everything was going to be okay. He was very welcoming and assured me that he would reach out to the university and do all the background checks just to make sure the scholarship was legit and genuine. A few days later I received an email from the university confirming that it was indeed true I had the scholarship and I had been enrolled.
Thanks to Jimmy I was able to confidently continue with the onboarding process and now I’m a proud MBA student. I would have missed the opportunity if Jim hadn’t gone the extra mile and for that I’m grateful.

I have been privileged to have had the opportunity to work with the German Academic Institute. They have walked hand in hand with me throughout my entire application and admission process. It is through their advice and guidance that I managed to get a place at Muenster university for my Masters’s Degree. They are the best support team for any international student wishing to study in Germany.

I came to know of the German Academic Institute-International through a Gentleman by the names of Mpungu Jim who I hardly knew but trusted because of the high degree of intelligence he portrayed through his views, ideas, and advice he gave to me and his code of conduct which was so professional that left mi with no second thoughts about education in Germany. Currently am making progress in my application process in one of the top universities in Germany for a bachelor’s degree in English. This has been made possible through his commitment, effective communication even out of my country and his persistence towards me achieving my goal and I also thank the institute that made it possible for such personnel to be within reach to us.

As mentioned above am a beneficiary of the GAI. I came to know about the Institute sometimes last year but one , where after wards i decided to apply for one of their services which is the Partial scholarship. I can confess that GAI has been of great importance to me since my application as I have witnessed them guide me appropriately . I half their support with various other bodies that otherwise could have left me devastated which includes The German embassy in my country Kenya where they really intervened to ensure I got the Visa, a German body the (ASK) which issues certificates of admission to German Universities for foreign students where my certificate didi not get to me in time but the GAI staff ensured I got it and continued with the process.
I am waiting for admission to heilbronn University which again has been with the help of the institute in getting me the right instite for my education .The list of their intervention is long but am particularly gratefulm to one Jim Godfrey who’s been very efficient with his work as he always had an answer for all my questions without delay and proved a lot of support. Recently, partial scholarship was a warded in the sum of 2,500,00 EUR by F+U International for my Master’s program. For me I know without doubt that GAI is true to their word and am lucky I have them.

I appreciate his work alongside his team because they sacrificed their time and researched all the information that I needed which I have used to get the most suitable universities for me from which I could choose to do my further studies in Deutschland next year.
So I am glad that I met Mr. Jimmy Godfrey Mpungu who gave me a head start on this and I do appreciate his efforts. Thanks.

Steven Muyimbwa, GAI Beneficiary from 25 years ago
I want to convey my sincere and genuine gratitude to The German Academi Institute (GAI) and more specifically to Mr. Jim Godfrey Mpungu for having been a part of my career development. I remember the year was 1992 and I had just returned from the UK, having been there for 2 years and really not achieving what I needed to achieve in Education, I run into Mr. Mpungu and we automatically reconnected. I had been with him a few years back but we had lost touch. So when I ran into him again I wanted to make sure that I do not lose touch again, especially since I discovered that he was into helping students go for further study abroad, especially to the USA at the time. I shared with him my plight and straight away he suggested that I plan to go to the USA. He agreed to help me get into school and follow up with all the documentation needed. I did not realize how fast he was planning to do all that he said he was going to, but within three months from when I ran into him on the street, I was on the plane headed for Houston, Texas to attend the Houston Community College. And that started a journey for me that has led me to places that are too many to mention here. That same year he relocated to Germany but made sure that I was taken care of in the US. I finished my studies in 1996 and came back home. The following year I contacted the German Academi Institute again and they invited me to Germany to look into going for further studies there. I went and visited for 5 weeks, in fact, My Mpungu took me to the University of Heidelberg and got me into school there. However, there were some pressing issues back home so I had to leave. In 2000 I went back to Germany but this time as a tourist and to visit some friends. Of course, Mr. Mpungu and the German Academic Institute facilitate a lot to do with this trip including contacts in Cities like Bonn and Dusseldorf for business. for about a month. So I can unequivocally say that I have been a beneficiary in all aspects – Student, Tourist, and Business.
At the moment it is with such pride and honor that I say I was approached by the same German Academic Institute to be one of their representatives/advisors not only here in Uganda, but also in the greater Sub-Saharan region. I have had tremendous opportunities to travel and meet people, but more so I have crossed paths with many aspiring students that want to go abroad for studies. We have since placed students in Germany, the UK, and the USA. I am so glad I am a part of The German Academi Institute (GAI).

I am a Ugandan female who has hopes of pursuing a master’s degree in International Management and I am thankful that I met Mr. Jimmy G. Mpungu who works with the German Academic Institute (GAI) during his stay in Uganda in August 2015. We have been in communication since then and he has helped me through my search for the appropriate course and university.
I have seen a commitment in him while trying to help me, through his timely responses to my inquiries, guidance, and professionalism, am grateful for the support. I hope to start my Master’s application at the University of Cologne soon. Once again am grateful not only to him but to the entire German Academic Institute (GAI) team for opportunities given to students who wish to further their studies.
Unknow GAI Student, Uganda
It is 7:30 pm and I am among the last people in the office. One of my colleagues noticed that am always trying out various scholarship sites but all efforts seemed not to bear any fruit. That Friday evening before we went our separate ways, he introduced me to a friend of his. Little did I know that this introduction would lead me to Mr. Hans-Dieter Sauer and later Mr. Jimmy Godfrey Mpungu of GAI (Germany Academic Institute). After a couple of interactions via email, with the help of GAI (Germany Academic Institute), I was able to select a couple of courses from a long list of Universities in Germany.
Mr. Hans and Mr. Jimmy were able to select the universities which would be able to offer me a scholarship for my Master’s program. Fast forward, COVID 19 pandemic struck and the new normal was online interaction. Through the pandemic, Mr. Hans and Mr. Jimmy did not at anyone time stop assisting me in my search for a scholarship. And in April 2020 during the lockdown in Uganda, I received an email from Mr. Hans in regards to an application I needed to work on urgently. I hit a couple of dead ends through the process but these two gentlemen made sure I applied before the deadline.
On another day probably over a cup of coffee, I would gladly tell you all that I have left out. The few words I get to write cannot begin to describe the level of professionalism, integrity, and dedication these two gentlemen from GAI (Germany Academic Institute) invest in the various tasks they set out to accomplish to meet one’s requests.
And 28th July 2020, I received an email with my admissions letter from Koln University of Applied Sciences.
